Director's Statement
As a filmmaker, I’ve always been drawn to stories about faith, solitude, and the human quest for meaning. This project was born from a fascination with the Parsi community and their deep spiritual connection to fire.
At its heart, this film is about a man’s search for solace and connection. Through his ritual of lighting candles and waiting for the sunrise, we explore the universal longing for peace and the unseen forces that give us comfort.
The film is visually intimate, with the warm glow of firelight symbolizing hope and divinity. The quiet, meditative atmosphere mirrors the character’s internal journey, while the interplay of shadow and light reflects his transition from loneliness to spiritual solace.
I hope this story resonates with anyone who has ever felt alone or searched for meaning. It’s a reminder that peace can be found in the quiet moments of faith and self-reflection.
